Dakota's Capstone project

Thank you for checking out my article here we will be looking at the art of business management with looking through some books, documentaries, articles films, and even going out into the field to get our hands dirty by doing some of the work ourselves.

Mid research review

Inclass we have started a paper known as the capstone project in this we will be taking a topic and breaking it down in to researchers through books articles documentaries and even some interviews with people of our topic themselves. My topic is on business management I will be looking at the book how to run your own business and a couple of articles based on that then after that i will be telling you about my documentary!

Starting off with the nonfiction book I read the book called how to start up and run your own fast food restaurant. Now my topic is not on how to run a fast food restaurant and small business but this book has some excellent advice for business managers. Starting off with that employees are easy to get but aren't easy to get the good ones. Als in the book it says that we should try to make our target audience everyone because that is impossible but yet to set our eyes on one target and focus only on that. My documentary was on how the world is advancing and as it does the more small businesses are popping up all over the world and seems like everyone wants to run their own business but really it is all for themselves that when opening up a business that you have to fight to make your way to the top and be towards everyones main choice and defeat your competitors. This relates to my topic directly because it is almost all on business management around the whole world. For the articles we had to find current news articles and some scholarly articles on google scholar or such site my articles focused  on the rapid growth of the small businesses and on some of the apps that they Are making out their to make running a small business fairly easy! And some of them even talked about that soon there could even be machines out there that would completely do all of the management out there that it could be designed and updated with the newest technology and the people who'd design it would just have to lay back and relax as they don’t have to worry about a thing. For my film I watched the movie tommy boy because it relates because it is about a boy who is trying to save his father's business so he has to step up to the management spot for his father and really have to try hard to keep the company up and running. In it it teaches that sometimes it really takes all the effort that you can give to save a company but in the end that it is all worth it.

I think that in the future that as technology grows that soon the technology will start to take over most of the work places that we wont have to do much when it is made most of the apps out there already do most of the work for us we might just type in a couple of numbers and then ta da all done all the calculations and everything are figured out. Some of the stores keep stock electronically. Even some of the stores are already electronically online. i can also see my project going in the direction of finding out more about some of the difficulties of being a business manager with hiring. also i would like to dig deeper into finding more about how much the technology has already been doing our job and how much that it is starting to take over each year as it will continue to grow without a sign of stopping.
